Barbara is the principal of
Fort Scott Middle School and has served in that capacity since 1995. In
2003, she was named the Kansas Middle School Principal of the Year.
Currently, Barbara is a member of the Pioneer Kiwanis, Bourbon
County Arts Council, PEO Chapter CA, Historic Preservation Association and
the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce. She also has memberships in the
United School Administrators, Kansas Association of Middle Level Educators
and the national Association of Secondary School Principals.
